All Over The Floor

Look. I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve for you.

Okay. Maybe it's not my heart.

But the blood's fucking up my best shirt, so that has to count for something.

Please let that heart belong to any of several people I have in mind. I need someone to do my killing for me, and if it were you I'd consider that bonus bragging points.

Hey Warren, here's a picture I drew of a pizza with some aborted fetuses on it:

If you insist. Though it would have meant more had you asked whose heart I wanted removed first.

Reminds me of that Dorothy Parker quote:

"I'll wear my heart on my sleeve like a wet, red stain."

I am in love with your icon. Francis Bacon is my favourite artist when it comes to paintings. Wonderful. :)

It's a cop from, ironically, Phoenix, who got his face cooked off in a car accident.

It's from "Extreme Surgery" on the Discovery health channel.
Cable TV, man. Cable TV.

In my limited experience, they usually issue the restraining orders at that point. Honestly. Nobody appreciates homemade gifts anymore.

Thanks for this.

Oh, sure. Anybody can wear a heart on their sleeve. How about a liver? A spleen? An appendix?

Show some originality.

Y'know, if I recall, they used to think that the liver was the source of emotional such-and-such the same way people think of the heart now... so that wouldn't be inappropriate.

A liver would be hard, too. Those things are slick. And floppy. I don't think there's much to an appendix, though, so you could probably hold that against the inside of your elbow.

I couldn't tell you how well a spleen would work, however.

Was that little monumental act at least appreciated? If not, maybe it's time to show how it's done. I find that people appreciate accomplished hard work through hands-on training.

Speaking of blood: Photos from the latest festival of Thiapusam, where devout Hindus hike a few kilometers up a hill with random heavy objects pierced through their cheeks or hanging by fishhooks from their backs. Or, for all I know, both.
